Fresh + Flowers = Happiness

After not having {bought} flowers at home for a couple of months, I just couldn't hold myself back anymore. Over the weekend I filled the house with lots of fresh flowers which made me so happy. You know they really do put a smile on your face and I think my florist was so happy to see me walk in the door too. Take my advice, head out and buy some fresh flowers, bring them home and arrange them in your favourite vase. I guarantee they will put a smile on your face!

The lily's look so lovely, especially on the mirrored table. I have bunches of tulips and daffodils around the house, I love the scent of the daffodils too.

I know what you mean...I love that feeling of carrying a big bunch of flowers home from the florist...makes me feel very European (don't ask me why)...I always buy a few bunches when I feel like redecorating but don't have the budget...almost as good as a new sofa!

I just love flowers. I can't help but pick them up every time I'm in the grocery store. They really do lift your spirits. I'll bet those lilies smell amazing. I love the dishes in the first picture too!

Thanks so much for inspiring me! I couldn't think what to get my over-worked sister for her birthday - a large bunch of heavenly scented narcissi are on their way to her, hopefully with a smile guarantee!

I would love to buy some fresh flowers but my children always seem to get into them and make the biggest mess. They just love them too I guess. Daisy~

I might have to follow suit. I've been forgoing flowers recently due to 'budget cuts'. But a few fresh spring buds may be just the ticket to banishing my March blahs!

So true- flower bring such vibrancy into a home. A friend just gave me some branches from her whitch hazel tree and they smell heavenly.

I agree, fresh flowers are always a pick me up when the weather outside is dismal. The fragrance of lilies always reminds me that spring is near.
Since I'm new to your blog, I've cruised some of your earlier posts. Enjoyed your pictures.
Have a nice day!

They do, indeed, look beautiful. It's so easy to not do the little things for ourselves that can easily make us smile. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh, I so agree! There is nothing like having fresh flowers! I love putting them in my entry because I walk through that room every time I come in the door and many other times during the day when I go upstairs. They make me happy! Cheap therapy on a rainy day!

I really like that pedestal they're on. Is that a mirrored side table? Is it vintage?

I bought some fresh tulips just the other day, it was a treat for my heart and my eyes. My husband loves flowers, more than I do in fact, once the weather warms up I will be glad, out and about picking them!
