Wilston House

Here are some pictures of a lounge room I recently redecorated for a client. We recovered her old sofas, added some new slip covered armchairs and lots of new scatter cushions. It's all very fresh and colourful against an all-white background. The lovely client is thrilled! I am hoping she will go ahead with large sisal floor rug which I think would complete the room beautifully but all in good time!! I couldn't help posting a picture of her gorgeous flowering Wisteria which hangs perfectly over her front gate - so pretty!! I wish I had a Wisteria like this growing over my front gate...maybe one day!!

Lovely!

. . . and if you want Wisteria, better get planting NOW. It takes 7 years for a Wisteria to bloom. Mine is finally blooming this year after years of. . . nothing!!

Blessings,

Sher

The room looks beautiful. I love all the fabric choices for the furniture and pillow. I agree.. a sisal rug would really complete the room nicely! :)

Is that pink zigzag pillow made from Rubie Green's East Village print? I just LOVE it! And the floral you've paired it with is gorgeous too. Inspired combo!

What a fresh and inviting lounge room. What I love about your designs Anna, is that they don't look awkwardly perfect (like a freedom catalogue!). They look lived in, classic, bright and most of all, put together with passion.
It's obvious that you love what you do Anna. It shines through every time you post your work.

I love how you can put certain patterns together that I would never even consider for fear that it wouldn't look right. So lovely! You're so talented and I love your work. Thanks for sharing it on this blog. With how frequently I check it, I'm hoping something rubs off. :)

I live in NYC and I love the flower fabric on the pillows on the couch. Can someone please tell me where I can find it?

Thank you.

Anna has lifted my spirits so much with her beautiful choices for my home. I savour my refreshed furnishings and all the other goodies from Anna. It's so nice to stay home now. Big thank you Anna from your devoted client. By the way, the "wisteria"on my front arbour is actually Petrea....I adore wisteria but it takes too long to produce flowers and then they flower for only a blink of an eye. Petrea gives so much more bang for your buck. intense purple....yum.looks great against the cool off-white and charcoal trims, and it is so robust and easy to grow. looks fantastic doesn't it?

lovely and livable. I like that it does not have a decorator's 'stamp' anywhere. a real space for real people!
