This week a beautiful pair of old chairs I had restored and recovered in a black and white stripe fabric arrived in the shop and I just knew they would sell fast, I had this feeling. They arrived in the shop mid morning and by the afternoon they were sold. We had some gorgeous black and white polka dot frilled cushions promptly made for the client to sit on each chair. They looked gorgeous, I must say. I was a little sad that I didn't get to put them in the front window but I suppose that's what it's all about. They now sit happily in their new home with their new owners and I get to do it all over again.

There's something about a red front door that I love. I was just searching on Flickr for some red door pictures for Pink Mohair as she has decided to paint the front door to her gorgeous children's play house red and just needed some help with the hue of red to use. I found so many red front doors which I loved and I also found the blue front door below surrounded by red render and those gorgeous blue and white tiles laid in a zig zag design. It's amazing what you can find on Flickr!!
I just thought I would show you the fabulous faux bamboo chair I just purchased on Ebay. I'm so excited with it considering we don't usually see chairs like this on our Australian Ebay. I am going to use it as my desk chair in my office at home and I don't even think I will have to change the upholstery which is fantastic!!
I love this sunny image which I found via Love Made Visable. I'm almost certain that this image is taken on the beach at Positano in Italy. It brings back memories of the summer I spent in Italy when I was 21 and my week long visit to beautiful Positano. I think this girl would look gorgeous lying on the daybed in my image of the week.
I'm off to Straddie for the weekend and it's starting to get cold here so we'll be rugging up in our Winter woollies; I can hardly wait!! Have a great weekend everyone.
