Anyone who knows me well knows I am obsessed with beautiful fabrics. For me, fabric is the starting point of any room design. I am continually falling in love with new fabrics I find. Whenever I find something I truly love I buy at least one meter to keep on file so that when I show clients I have a large piece to show them how beautiful the fabric really is. The small pieces in the sample books just don't do the fabrics justice. I thought I would show you a few fabrics I am currently absolutely in love with.

The first one is spectacular!!
Wow...you have a beautiful collection of fabric. I live in a small midwestern town and I don't have access to such amazing fabrics.
Great idea to buy a large piece of the fabric. You are right, the sample books can be difficult for a client to grasp the whole idea. Love them all!!
They are all gorgeous Anna, wonderful selection. For me no3 is simply perfection...
A great idea and the fabrics are gorgeous. At least it's a healthy obsession.
I just love the fact that you love colour we are constantly bombard with all white images ( don't get me wrong I think there divine ) Whites so hard to keep clean I know I've tried it and colour really does uplift the spirit

These are Gorgeous! I have an addiction to fabrics....lots and lots of favorites in my collection. Someday I will find a use for it all.
Wow! I really like the one with the pink tower and brigde --- I wonder if it comes in wallpaper as well???
All of them are gorgeous! I especially love the first one!
Love the top fabric with the blue/white ginger jars. Beautiful bright color, yet very traditional too!
Beautiful prints!
This fabrics are stunning! you sell them in your store??
The good thing about what I do (custom home furnishings) is I get to work with some amazing fabric without having to buy it myself. And as there is almost always some kind of scraps leftover, I can admire it long after the slipcovers or window treatments have been delivered. You know what the y say, the person with the most fabric when she dies, wins! I suspect you are right in the thick of it all!
WOW. Gorgeous. Spotting a bit of Marimekko there too! I love the print second from the bottom as well.
I also love fabrics. I wish that you would identify the ones posted today especially the first three. (Are they Conovas?) Thanks so much for the lovely post.

YES, they are spectacular, love vibrant patterns with a graphic feel to it.
Nice....i like it too
I see some faves Anna :)
Yes there is nothing in the world like looking at a wonderful fabric order book and ordering and then receiving a whole roll of that fabric, and then rolling out a few meters and seeing it in all it's glory! Your fabric with the Blue and white vases and flowers is definately one of those fabrics!
I'm a total fabric hoarder as well, I've got boxes and boxes (and boxes) chock full of swatches. Just pulling them out every once in awhile makes me smile!

I'm becoming a fabric fanatic myself. What is that fabric in picture number four? The black and white pattern??
Oh they ARE beautiful. I especially like the floral in the fifth image and can think of a lot of uses for it. It has a bit of a mid century Scandinavian feel to it.

Anna,
Where have I been all your life?! I just discovered your blog and I"m just blown away by your natural, playful yet impeccable design sense! My house is in such a rut after 2 babies and a busy job. I needed to get inspired and I think I just did. When I go home today, I'm going to make a little flower arrangement, put some of my kitchen pieces on display and not be so afraid anymore! Your blog makes me so happy, just like that fabric!

I just love the fabrics. Oh I so want to do up my sofa in the blue and white chintz.
These fabrics are seriously divine. Particularly love the first one and the second last. Please check out my blog and let me know what you think. www.flotsamfriends.blogspot.com/ Would love to know your thoughts (I too am a Brisbane girl)... Px
I am a total fabric hound as well. Some of my favourite prints have been the jumping off points for so many of my favourite rooms.
I'm currently working on redoing my guest room in a stunning cowan and tour toille-like pattern
So beautiful...and happy! They just scream summer!

I share your love for lush fabrics, especially the ones featuring imagery of blue and white porcelains.
I have a pair of wing chairs, as old as my marriage, originally upholstered in a very colonial plaid.
After a move to Memphis and the need to assimilate my small amount of primitive furniture into a ballroom of a living room with a dark teak floor, marble fireplace mantel, and crystal sconces from Rafferty's in New Orleans, I knew only fabric could provide an inexpensive solution.
The wing chairs were reupholstered in a chintz with an apricot ground and great big oversize blue and white plates filled with vaguely Asian fruit. The staid chairs turned into butterflies!
And then I reupholstered my Queen Anne sofa in blue and white flamestitch chintz.
It will always be my favorite room, if only in memory.
They are all stunning. That first one is to die for!
There are so many comments here already, but I think I must be number 58 in saying that you have gathered the most delectable feast for the eyes and you have some very very lucky clients! Number 5 is joyous colourful fabric heaven. I hope to stumble across it someday!
These are absolutely stunning, Anna. I so love that you are not afraid of color!
