Portraits Found

Here are a few of the vintage portraits I have been collecting for a vintage lady portrait wall at Black & Spiro. It's so lovely to be bringing these ladies back to life. We are actually planning an exhibition of these and more at Black & Spiro. I'll keep you posted.

Luck be a Lady.
You must play that song when you have these ladies exhibited. "Luck be a Lady" - by Frank Sinatra.
Lucky you.

Hi I love your blog. I have a webzine called "What She Likes" and was wondering if I can feature your blog and the ur work there. I didn't mail you because I have mailed many people for featuring their work and I get no reply. I see that the comments are moderated so I thought you would notice mine. I really enjoyed visiting your blog! Regard

Oh my goodness these are TO DIE FOR!!! WOW Anna!! I am seriously drooling and wishing I lived in Australia to come check them out!! I can't wait to see photos of the exhibition! Where have you collected all these beauties?

Also, I'm SO happy to hear that you received the fabrics and that you like them! You're my first customer so I was a bit nervous and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate it :) Can't wait to see what you do with them!

Hi Mabelle - I thought you'd love these portraits!! I am SO thrilled with the fabric - so much more beautiful in real life! Thank you and I'll be sure to send you pictures once I have made them up! I am actually showing the Chevron to a client tomorrow for some old bentwood dining chair seats she is wanting to recover! Very exciting!

These are great! Love your blog and hope to visit your shop soon. What is this amazing wall paper (fabric?) behind the green chair in your window? By the way, you should know that your nice ˝obsession˝ with women portraits have inspired my sister Rebecca who lives in Bosnia (another regular reader of yours) to start painting women portraits!!
Greetings,
Helene

There's a feeling of wanting to find out more about each lady's background when you look at them - beautiful paintings.
