Do you remember me posting about this vintage head vase a few weeks ago? Let me refresh your memory - I was watching this head vase on Ebay a little while ago and I meant to bid for it but I completely forgot and completely missed out on it. I was so disappointed as I really wanted the vase. Some of you are probably wondering why in the world would she want that vase but that is something I cannot explain. I just love it. Well the funniest thing happened. The vase became relisted (maybe the winner withdrew??) and this time I didn't forget!! I became the lucky bidder!! It just arrived a week or so ago and I have to tell you I am thrilled!! Sometimes things are just meant to be!

I love head vases. I have a reproduction one, I use it to store my makeup brushes.
I can totally understand just how excited you were to see it relisted. I've been there..... LOL
I remember the vintage head! Congratulations on the relisting. Its stunning and so vintage feminine.
Congrats Anna! How thrilled you must be!
I can totally understand your feeling about forgetting about an item on Ebay that I really wanted and beating myself because of it. It is certainly meant to be yours as items like these do not always become relisted. Congrats!
Totally reminds me of my Hawaiian woman bust (minus the Hawaiian part), heh heh.
Yeah!! Good for you Anna! Don't you just love the unexpected!
Hi... I like reading your blog and have stopped by several times. I, too, love head vases! I have a collection of 26 vintage head vases. I couldn't part with them if I had to!
I love lady head vases. Whenever I see them, I post about them on my blog, but I've never seen one with a baret style hat, I don't think. And she has her eyes open. Often their eyes are closed. I wonder how much you paid for this one. The first time I saw a bunch of them together at a flea market they were $25 each, then later I've seen them up to $250, so now I wish I had bought some of those $25 ones. She's beautiful, and I'm glad you got her!
Conratulations!
I saw some wonderful vintage head vases at an auction recently, and I really wanted them, but since I'd already spent several hundred dollars (buying a 1920s Hoosier cabinet, japanese tea set, Royal Doulton figurine to name a few things!) I didn't let myself bid on them!!
I found your blog while blog-hopping, it's absolutely beautiful!
I bought my first lady head vase today! She's not as interesting as yours, but still, I love her. Thanks for writing me the other day and linking my blog from yours!
OOhh I remember this beautiful head vase. It was pure destiny for you to have it! And it's a good thing, because you displayed it perfectly!
