Lots of gorgeous new things have been arriving in the shop these last couple of weeks. In particular I'm mad about the temple dogs, the houndstooth cushions, the colourful ginger jars and the aqua lamps in the front window set against Florence Broadhurst Japanese Bamboo. Lots of colourful things for Spring!!

I'll take one of everything! :)
Those ginger jars are just gorgeous!
Anna, I'm also gravitating to everything you mentioned as a favorite :)
Looks beautiful!
I love those silvery bamboo containers!
I also love that fabulous nickle lantern in the window!! Beautiful things Anna :)
I love all your new finds, I was surprised to see some things similar to stuff I have in my own home, like those colorful ginger jars. My mother-in-law made me one like that many years ago and my mom always tries to hide it away. I happen to really love it, so I am just going to tell her you agreed, they are beautiful! :-)
Love the houndstooth and the dogs too!
I think it would be so fun to have a shop! Thanks for sharing your new things!

The shop is looking wonderful. I'm with the others, the silver bamboo canisters are stunning. And I love the pink houndstooth too!
Wow- our eyes are still popping from all the absolutely beautiful things! Oh what gorgeous bits of color as everything on this side of the equator is turning brown!

oh i'm loving the ginger jars, the lantern and the white wicker chair. thanks for sharing these gorgeous things :)
Your front window display looks fantastic. Beautiful colors!
I love the colour combo in the window display, I am loving contrasting colours in moderation that really inject energy into a space. When I see contrasting colours working well together I just want to run to my canvas and recreate the sensation on a larger scale. Excellent work i hear my canvas calling....
Oh - I love those ginger jars - I've never seen them before with the 3D flowers on them - the colours are fabulous!
If you ever have a spare 30 seconds, I'd love your expert opinion on my orange lamp base - the jury is still out - http://freefallingskyward.blogspot.com/2007/10/is-it-too-ugly-to-live.html
Anna those ginger jars are just wonderful! What great finds!
Wow. You're in Spring and we're just starting Fall over here in Canada. I love the pink jar, though!
I love it all - especially the ginger jars. Gorgeous!
Our family went to a chinese restaurant in Sydney the other night and on the way in there were two huge marble temple dogs on either side of the staircase.
My nine year old son told me the male has the ball under his foot and the female has the puppy - there is some symbolism there and that sometimes they carve a ball into the mouth of the male dog during the construction so it is loose when finished - a paradox like a ship in a bottle. He'd learned this at a recent school excursion to a buddhist temple.
Anyhow, up till then I thought they were lions! Never having noticed the temple dog before, I was thrilled to see them on your blog the next day.
Now I have to have some. It's like, karma, man.
