Since our article appeared in Real Living last week I've had so many email and phone enquiries about our bright colourful cushions. Most of the enquiry is coming from Melbourne which funnily enough is known in Australia as a city that usually loves brown, black, taupe, muted colours not the pink, yellow, blue, orange bright colours which we love up here in the Sunshine State (Queensland). Maybe our Southern friends are getting a bit tired of black and brown and are needing some colour in their lives!!

It looks like your going to colour your entire country one pillow at a time!
I don't blame them, how could you live with black and brown after seeing those pretty and happy colors?

Hello There!
I live in the Los Angeles area, and I would love some helpful information. I need to find those blue floral cushions featured on the front of the couch in this post.
Any information would be helpful, such as designer, name of the fabric or whatever you can tell me.
Thanks!
Josh

Hi Anna ~I discoverd your article in Real Living last night and wanted to drop by to check out your blog! I love your style and use of colour, it's so refreshing and different. You're one talented woman!
Lovely...I'd take any one of them off your hands if you like :)

After a decade of beige rooms, we Americans are needing some color in our lives as well. Slowly but surely, things seem to be changing for the brighter. I am glad you are part of not only the color revolution, but the blogging revolution as well.
: )
Love those cushions, Anna. I think some people have never realized how cheering it is when you live with color. You are offering a better alternative and hopefully it will continue to catch on! Banish those anemic, drab hues!
Ah Anna, you forget that Victoria is the HOME of colour - if I dont say so myself!! - dont forget - we are the originators of some of the BRIGHTEST surfwear in the world !!!
I love the comment about colouring Australia cushion by cushion!!
On another note - you can delete this bit below if you want to publish the above!
1. I guess youre not coming to HK - after being inundated no doubt with all the emails/work after your Real Living article - which I loved!
Anyway, I hope you dont mind but Ive decided to pursue the adventure of doing the apartment here in HK myself - Im thoroghly enjoying the "process". THo no closer to getting the " right" cushion fabrics!"
2. YOu know - you are the only comment on my blog! THank you!!! :-)
3.If I post you on my blog - would you like me to send you a copy of the posting ? Im not sure what normal blog etiquette is - can you pls let me know. WHat do you normally do when you feature an image or info from another blog?
take care!!
I really love the pink and white houndstooth. Very cool!
As a Melbournian, I must say that as much as I love wearing black, I don't want to live in a black hued (dark) environment! I think you might find that the reason you're getting lots of calls from Melbourne people is because we do love colour, and that we're very canny at tracing down things we find in magazines and on the net.
I've been trying to find out the manufacturer of the lime/yellow geometric print pillow - Gwynneth Paltrow has an ottoman in that print in a blue/purple color. Any help in finding it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi Arran the fabric is by Florence Broadhurst available in Australia through Signature Prints. I beleive that a company called Weego Home over in the States might stock the fabric but I can't be certain. Hope this helps. Oh and it is called Cirles & Squares. Thanks for stopping by!
Anna
We love wearing muted colours but we're bursting with brights on the inside!! Truely we are. Perhaps we mute the outside to tone down the dazzle on the inside!
Great selection. I think the bold floral with the blue background is my fav!
Who is the manufacturer of that fabric?
Any info would be be fabulous! Thank you!
these are so fantastic, I can't stand it! You've motivated me to get out my sewing machine.
WOW!!!!!!!!!! I love this photo. From the work I have seen you do, my favorite thing is how you put all different color schemes and patterns together. Fearless!! You really inspire me as a designer!!!
absolutely beautiful fabrics and colors
