Have you tried the Caramel macaroons at Laduree? They are my favorites. I'm from Paris living in NYC, every time I go home, I make sure to stop by their shop at La Madeleine...It's funny the things you get nostalgic about. Thank you for taking me back there!Oh, and lovely plate under the cake.
