My mum emailed me these Kitchen pictures from
Southern Accents &
Cottage Living earlier this week as I am about to re-do my kitchen at home. It's so lovely to have a mum like my mum - always on the ball. She really is the only person in the world whose sense of style I completely and utterly trust!!

Hi...I have written a post about your blog. Here is the link:

Your blog is really inspiring!
Love these pics! White is so chic! Mind you... I've learnt by my mistakes. In my last home I put in white tiles on my backsplash just like in these pics, but being italian I cook tomato sauces often (not well, but often, and not in a tidy fashion either!) and the splashes where impossible to get out of the grout! LOL!! Everyone who came over knew I'd been making pasta! So in my home now, I have a glass splash back which is much easier to clean and far more practical for Italians!!! LOL!!!
The first kitchen I have had in my "dream house file" for quite some time. Still a pleasure to see that kitchen. Pretty post.
I'm crazy about that image at top. Can't wait to see photos of your kitchen- after you've finished the renovation, of course!
very pretty!
but the image at the top appeared in Southern Accents magazine. it was designed by a very talented designer in Birmingham, Alabama, named Mary Evelyn McKee
love your blog!
Beautiful kitchen! So fresh and absolutely charming!!!

Gorgeous, I love this kitchen, very fresh and airy looking. I love the cupboards at the top and I love the floors.
Very different
Love your Blog

these are FAB anna - your mum has great taste...love both of these!!!
i cant wait to have a new kitchen, we need to find a new house to move to first!
Looks great: bright and fresh (opposite to depressing).
I love wood floors in kitchens... These two rooms are great.
These kitchens are beautiful! I love love the top one. Your mum has wonderful taste!
Oh my, I LOVE it!!! I want it.
very cute. i love white walls so much.
of course I adore these images Anna.....so similar to my heavenly new kitchen, especially now with the newly chosen american oak feature bench coming soon. these kitchens are so classic aren't they. never tire of seeing this style.and they most likely improve with age and use and the sense of home seeping into its very being.your mum sounds very special.

Love them both. And how lucky you are to have a Mum with such great taste!
Just FAB! Now that is my dream kitchen--LOL! Hope you'll show us your new kitchen later, Anna. Happy Day :o)
If you like this kitchen, I will send you clips of another kitchen that was recently in Veranda. My kitchen is original to the house, avec the newish appliances of several years ago. As they say, "the grass is always greener on the other side"- and I really want an all white or creamy kitchen.
Anna - please tell your mum she has lovely taste from me:-)
Anna...I hope you keep us up to date with your newest project! I can hardly wait to see your transformation. I know it will be lovely. :)
I am in love with those tiles!
Love that top kitchen. Those oversize subway tiles are wonderful!

We (Cantley & Company, Inc) did this kitchen. It is in
Birmingham, Alabama. A wonderful designer, Mary Evelyn McKee built the house about 10 years ago, it is still one of my favorites.
I love the kitchen. The only thing that throws me off a bit is the dishwasher in the second photo. It doesn't quite blend with the space and the other cabinets.

Wow Cyndy, thanks for stopping by! The kitchen is divine! I'd love to see any more pics you might have of this kitchen??

Just beautiful!!
How sweet, like mother like daughter.
Beautiful kitchen...love the floors and the oversized (in height) subway tiles. The different shape makes all the difference in this kitchen. Love the restraint in the first image.
