Back Soon

These flowers have been sitting on the fireplace mantel in our bedroom for 2 weeks now.  I am surprised they have lasted so long.  At $3.00 a bunch at the markets they were a good investment. I have enjoyed looking at them every morning when I wake up.

I am taking off early this week for a few days away.  I am so tired.  See you soon.

xx

Fresh flowers are beautiful! And that's a great bargain. I have had the same bunch of hydrangeas on our sideboard for almost a month and they are only now starting to look a little tired.

Have a great weekend break :)

When you love flowers so much, it is lovely when they stay alive longer than anticipated...I had some spray roses that lasted 6 weeks once...as a Florist, I am still amazed by this!

Gorgeous investment and rest is also one of the best investments to restore one's beauty and grace. I hope you can take a nap and find time to catch some zzzz's!

Anna you constantly amaze everyone with your tireless energy, and your incredible capacity to not only fit so much into your life, but also to give as well.

So I hope you truly get some rest on your timeout ~ you more than deserve it ~ and a break is SO important to avoid burning out, not just as a designer, but just jolly well as a person in the busy time in which we live!

Fresh flowers always make such an impact on a space. Amazing that those lasted so long! That's great!

I bought three bunches of daisies at the grocery store. Had them for a week, used them in two different arrangements and with some judicious infill from my yard, they are going strong. I love them, my husband loves them. I just think there is something so special about fresh flowers, you can't help but feel happier looking at them -- kind of like your blog Anna!

Hi...I love your blog and your beautiful ideas! I wish I could come peruse your shop! But, I am a little far in the US! I love the bright plaid fabric in the ad on your sidebar...is the same as what is posted in your dog's birthday post below? Could you tell me what fabric it is? It is perfect for my girl's room I'm decorating right now! Thanks so much!

From the photo you've taken, having the flowers as beautiful as this knowing the fact that it's been 2 weeks already is a priceless achievement. This beautiful white flowers just seem to show that purity never dies. Pretty inspiring.
