I Love...

Every now and then I spot a room I absolutely love and this one above, as published in Elle Decor, is one of them. I think it's the lovely fresh colours against the all-white background, the dining chairs and the beautiful old marble fireplace which I love most!

Hello Anna, I love your inspiring Blog- that picture is simple & elegant but a touch of class- i like it, the vintage looking sofa in the background-I LOVE flowers on a table (always)and the sophistication the books give in the background.
Great Blog

I adore this room! I love the pop of yellow and the modern floor lamp. It takes the uber traditional furniture and art to a whole new level.

I could spend an afternoon curled up on that gorgeous sofa, in front of those amazing windows! xo

I am beginning to find I love a white background with pops of color in furniture and accessories. There is something simple, sweet, and elegant about it.

That was my favorite photo in that issue too! I love the tufted sofa by the beautiful window, and the pink flowers juxtaposed by the yellow chairs. The room is light and airy.

It is lovely. The most beautiful rooms are most often the ones that seem to invite you in. You can imagine kicking off your shoes and relaxing straight away.

I agree! Everything about this room is fresh and original. I thought this issue of ED had lots of pretty things, but this was my favorite.

I love this room too...I was going to post it as well. I want to cover chairs like this in bright parrot green for my dining room!

I love it too. What I love the most is the mostly white and neutral pallette with pops of color! The yellow chairs, the colorful oil painting. The windows make it sing with light! Love Love!

I really like the large piece of ARTWORK ..but it's not as lovely as yours in your dining room area.

You are so right. This room is gorgeous and polished.

I agree, having an all white room provides the most wonderful canvas, allowing you to pepper it with splashes of colour here and there - making it very adaptable.

Case in point with this lovely room :-)

the pops of yellow in the chairs is so refreshing and i love the idea of a couch to lounge on right beside the dining table.
