The lounge room started with these 2 vintage chairs which we had for sale in the shop. The clients loved them so much that we worked the entire room scheme around them.
I placed the art pieces on the floor first {as below} and then we had them hung on the wall once everything was in place.
Here are a few snippets of a lovely house I am working on at the moment. We hung the art work cluster wall this morning in the lounge room. The sofa is yet to arrive so once we have that in place I'll post some more photos. The clients just moved into the house at Christmas. Since then we've had it painted all-white inside and out. It is the most gorgeous cottage and looks wonderful with all the white paint. We are using lots of fabulous colour in the furniture and accessory pieces. More photos in a week or so, I promise!!

Anna,
Just beautiful work. I love it. I put art on the floor and then hang as well. Don't know any other way to do it. Your work is really inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

Looks gorgeous so far. Looking forward to more photos!

I love the artwork cluster! You would never guess that such different pieces would look so great all grouped together. Beautiful.
Looks amazing Anna, can't wait to see what else you have in store. Gotta love these Queensland cottages - so much character!

What a great little nook, and the gallery wall is spectacular!

You are the best at hanging art work in a cluster!

Wow, I just love the fabric on those vintage chairs. Simply Amazing and Inspiring!
Lucky you to be working there! You are so lucky to do something alot of women dream about/try to do with their own homes. I adore those chairs by the way. Another lovely post.

I love those chairs too, Anna, what a great piece to start with! I am always envious of such beautiful art walls, I can never get mine to look quite right at home..
:)
How beautiful and just love the positioning of the photo frames. Can't wait to see more photos. Thanks for sharing.
Those chairs are fabulous - beautifully done.
Love all the prints you've chosen and the butterflies are particularly fabulous. Every time I see one of your projects I want to pick up and move to Australia, buy a cottage and paint it bright white (with pink accents!). Love! XO Katie
Blue and white are timeless together, arent they? The combination of those chairs on that rug is just lovely. Well done, you are so talented.
Your rooms are always beautiful and happy! They just make me feel good. Thank you!
Love the fabric on the dining chair slipseats.
The two vintage chairs and the wall of art look fantastic. Is that framed vintage butterfly taxidermy in the mix? Can't wait to see more photos!

Oh Anna, I LOVE those chairs..... not good for one's health, working amongst such beautiful fabrics.. your heart rate would never slow to an acceptable rate. A-M xx
Hi Anna
Your touch, as always, inspires me. I'm thinking of whiting out my many-coloured post-war home, highly distressed two-inch-wide hardwood floorboards and all to lighten up my world. Is it asking you to give away professional secrets if I ask what type of white paint you use on the walls? And what are your recommendations on painted or stained white floorboards? Are they a pain or a boon to live with in your experience?
I love the art work cluster! And especially the "love" poster! Beautiful.
i am all about the clustered wall hangings! love it!
Looks great Anna! Was nice to see one of my prints in the mix. :)

Those chairs are just gorgeous - it is hard to go wrong with blue and white. We were very excited to spot our yellow vintage butterfly artwork as part of the striking art wall! Looking forward to seeing more photos of this light, bright cottage.

Anna, you do color like no other. Love the chairs and the wall grouping is the finishing touch, you are such a talent!! kathysue
LOVE those chairs! I can see why they fell in love.
love the blue and green together - gorgeous!
I now know that it's wise to arrange pictures on the floor, not while hanging!

anna, your work is very inspiring and beautiful! i definitely love and adore the wall hangings. it's fun to see so many different sizes and pieces put together like that.
Hi, great blog! So, I have also been working on a wall gallery. My design challenge is I have 22' high ceilings. I was thinking about putting larger pieces like 24"x 36". Would u use larger pieces? It seems that anything smaller wont be as visually appealing. What do you suggest?
I really like the art work cluster...it's really inspiring and looks so cool
I love doing gallery walls...yours is fab. I too, start on the floor!
Blessings...
wow! I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A WALL LIKE THIS!! kisses from brasil!

I love the art -- I always like a wall like that (although there are none at Linderhof -- no wall space!) I like the different elements in your display.
The pieces work beautifully together! So relaxed, it would look lovely in that fishing cottage at Amtity. Cathy Pieroz Ray White Real Estate (formerly Harcourts)
Beautiful chairs...and I LOVE your gallery wall.
Really beautiful... and thanks for the tip about putting art on the floor first! It's so simple, I should have thought of it long ago, but I didn't.
Gorgeous, darling!
Love the chairs!

I love the artwork Anna. Any insight in to where I could possibly find that black and white "love" piece?
Thanks,

I'm dying to know, where did you find that fabulous blue and white fabric on the chairs??
With bated breath,
Anne
You have just given me a great idea for a wall in my living room that has been a source of frustration. Thank you.
I am very taken by the "LOVE" print. Where might I be able to find it to purchase? Any help would be very much appreciated!!! ~~~ thank you, Lauren
