Friday Flowers

It's lovely when you receive a little bunch of unexpected flowers especially from your brother and especially hand picked from the garden. He obviously knows me very well to have thought to bring me these pretty pink flowers which are currently blooming on a tree in his front yard. They made my day.

Oh, how sweet! What a nice brother you have. I love crepe myrtle trees, I had one at my first house and your post has reminded me to plant another. Congratulations on your exciting news, you'll certainly be kept on your toes over the coming months.

Have a great weekend

How beautiful...Our crepe myrtles are so heavily in bloom this year that when the rains came yesterday the extra weight of the water broke some of our most beautiful branches so....I have a house full of pretty pink flowers at the moment!! Enjoy

I am so glad I found you, I carried around a copy of a decorating magazine from Australia for weeks because of the "city house"!I painted the walls in the "bedroom" part of my shop pink, orange and khaki because of the modern painting in the diningroom behind the black wing chair. You have a great eye for color.

Lagerstroemia Indica - Crepe Myrtle. Comes in lots of lovely colours, is a beautiful tree and in the winter when bare, the bark is divine. Lucky you.
