I save so many images in my picture files to keep as inspiration for co-ordinating different colour schemes. It's often the combination of different colours in a picture or different products or different textures which can inspire me to put together a scheme for a client's home. I love the colours in these two product images above. The first image is from Jean Brown, a Brisbane fashion mecca, advertising some of their latest offerings {I adore the bangles by Paula Bianco} and the second image is a product editorial from House Beautiful. I just love all the wonderful colour and patterns and textures in these images. I find them very inspiring.

The Paula Bianco bangles really stood out to me. So unique!
Paula Bianco jewlery is gorgeous! That yellow cabinet looks great! Elaine :)
Good Morning from St Augustine Florida. I tore that page out of House Beautiful as well. I carry the Jon Robshaw rugs in my store and Dana Gibson painted waste baskets similar to the pink leopard one in the picture. I loved the products on both pages! Thanks for sharing,

Thank you for this post. It's taught me that you need to look beyond the product itself to, as you say, the colours, the texture, the combinations. As I'm about to start a design course this is something I'll now be paying attention to.
yes, those images make me happy, all the colours and textures clipped together on one page, so glam and inspiring! I agree!
Is lovely!
I know - that HB product editorial just gives me chills....
I really love Kara by Kara Ross.
It's all so cute..

i know what you mean about picture clippings, once upon a time i just had boxes of magazine tears, now i have old magazine tears, new magazine tears, magazines, and folder after folder of categorised images from the web, but it's all fun and games.
