Dreaming of Paris

Image (above) Source Unknown

In a few months I am travelling to Paris which is very exciting as it will be my first ever visit to the city which I have dreamed of visiting since I was a little girl. I was recently thrilled to find The Hotel du Panthéon which is a little boutique hotel located in the Saint-Germain des Prés area right opposite the Pantheon and very close to the Luxembourg Gardens. I couldn't resist posting some pictures of the hotel above - so pretty in pink and yellow and so perfectly 'girly' as I am going with a girlfriend who will appreciate the prettiness unlike my husband who would just say in a very meaningless tone 'yes honey it's great'!!

One of my very favorite hotels. I met friends staying there last spring. I always stay a little closer to the Seine as walking across the bridges is one of my favorites. Don't miss the mad roller bladers. They skate through the city Fridays at midnight....really magical. Please e-mail me Anna if you want to know of any special shops in the Saint-Germain des Pres neighborhood.

i'm sitting here now, organising a trip with my husband for work in early April. It will be a Paris and Brussels event and haven't been to either. He doesn't care where we stay so this is a definite possibility. shall investigate. the problem is there are so many options...unlike little old Brissy!

I just stayed at Hotel du Pantheon in October for my honeymoon and it is as quaint as it looks! You must try dinner one night at Chez Alexis et Daniel nearby on rue d'Arras. Ooh, you have me missing Paris all over again.
