A Beachside Bathing Room

I love this image of Annette de la Renta's bathroom - a Venetian mirror, 19th century shell pictures, beach hats and a sumptuous big bath - what more could a girl want at the beach??

I noticed similar shell sailors' Valentines were used in a house that one of my favorite designers, Jackye Lanham, had featured in the last issue of Southern Accents. They must have a new issue coming out because I couldn't find any images on their website. Funny how things like that catch on and then you start seeing them everywhere.

Hi - Do you have a copy of Oscar de la Renta's book? You would love it, and should get it if you don't have it. Tons of wonderful pictures of his and Annette's home(s).
