Ormiston House in Veranda Magazine

Well, it's turning out to be a big week for us.  We just found out that the Ormiston house has made the front cover of Veranda Magazine in Poland.  I thoroughly enjoyed working with Paul and Hayley on their beautiful home and am overjoyed by this wonderful article.  The morning of the photo shoot I gathered lots of flowers and foliage from my garden at home and arranged them at the house.  My favourite arrangement was the one I did on their dining table in a collection of Hayley's mismatched antique jugs and vases.

Thanks again must go to Catherine Shields and Simon Kenny for their continued interest in my work and their beautiful coverage of these lovely family homes I have had the pleasure of working in.

If you would like to see more images of Paul & Hayley's house head over to Content's website HERE...

I love all the blue and white! The home is gorgeous especially the blue white large scale fabric on the chairs in the living room. I did a post last week on blue and white porcelain so loved seeing this post.

Blue is very popular color in Poland. HGave you heard of polish pottery? Wonderfully blue in many designs. When we lived in Ukraine eight years ago, expat/diplomatic wives would have a girls weekend out and drive ten hours from Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, to the border of Poland to have a day of Polish Pottery shopping.

The polish pottery shops are amazing. Each piece of pottery is hand painted and very durable.

What a beautiful house! You have truly impeccable vision. I've been searching everywhere for beautiful blue and white pillows for my green velvet couch (may sound awful, but she's a lovely piece). I'd love your suggestions on where to find pillows - I'm almost to the point of making my own! Philadelphia needs a Black & Spiro!
