Last night whilst preparing the post about the birthday gift wrap dilemma, Harry was snug in my bed beside me watching t.v. and out of the blue asked me where the pink background had gone on my blog. I was surprised as I really didn't think he knew anything about my blog. I told him that I was a bit over it. He was disappointed {like many of you have been} and said "but mum how will we know that it is your blog as everyone has white blogs". I couldn't believe it. I had no idea he was so in-the-know about blogs! So, to reassure him and to reassure you here are a few little tidbits at home to show you and him that I still love pink and will do so forever but I just needed a little break from it on my blog for a while...maybe it will come back again in the new year.

You know what, Anna, though my background is white.... I do also miss your pink wallpaper!! I had in my little head attributed the fact of the missing hot pink, with a connection to your new website, perhaps in an attempt to streamline everything....
I am voting on the return of your signature color!!!

Dying over your pink Chanel! So gorgeous!
Anna, if you ever do get sick of the colour pink, I would be very happy to become caretaker to your handbag :)
ps my blog background is pale blue, what does that say, I wonder?
Children are very perceptive!! A change is as good as a holiday so they so, so enjoy yours! I have a feeling that pink will lways be in your life no matter what! Enjoy this busy lead up tpo christmas Anna. KG xx
What a sweet boy you have and I love that he noticed your missing pink blog background! I do the fresh white and I love that you still love your pink!
pve
how sweet. Isn't it amazing what they notice and remember? It was an intense pink, so I can understand why you wanted a break. But bring it back for the New Year ! xo
Love you no matter what color! Kids are so darn smart :)
That's so funny, I always had a colorful background too! For the last part of the year I changed it to white for a rest. My adult daughter also mentioned she preferred the purple background. I guess they get used to us being colorful!!!
that is funny i too changed my blog page from green to white & my little 7 yr old questioned the reasoning of this too....they never cease to amaze us how much they take in!....
the pink chanel bag with the scarf...it's ridiculously beautiful!
go Harry, so cute xx
The pink chair are beautiful, what a colour.
The inspired to change my old chairs. Thenk you regards
Pretty pretty! And I am SO lusting over those pink chairs!! OMG!!
Wahooo because I still love a decent hit of hot pink, too! Hope you had a smashing weekend, Anna!
I think your pics popped more against the pink background as white backgrounds tend to be a little glarey (on blogs, not walls)
which causes the pics to get a little lost. Clever Harry!
I'm with Harry - please bring the pink background back. White is boring and the pictures don't pop as much.
Quite simply one of the most fabulous cluster walls ever. HEAVENLY!
What a cutie he is!
Oh, my dear... if you're born liking pink, you'll always love pink.. :-)
Pink is just a color that remind us of the sweet side of life!
Anna, if you can, please go take a look at my COLORFUL CHRISTMAS DECOR. I think you'll like it.

What a sweet story of your son and his chat about your blog. I just read that a variation of pink (it was called honeysuckle, which didn't sound pink to me), was the color of the year. So there you go . . . you are all set for this year.
Fondly,
Glenda
I agree with Harry, I also miss the pink. Funny, I thought you were over it and had absolutely moved on!
Harry is very sweet. I love your blog no matter what the background--and love the pink in those images. That Chanel bag...oh my! And the pink chairs...beautiful!
Dear Anna hope to see your pink background back one of these days , its really was your feature trade mark - Harry is a dear little fellow bless his heart:-) and has great taste. I concur with him :-)
how sweet is that! while i love pink too i am enjoying the new look as well!
I like your clean new look and I am glad that you still like pink!
I love pink too, it's the International Colour of Calm. If you ever find your home robbed and the chairs and bag missing you'll know where to find them....round here safely tucked away inside the Fuschiadome. xxx
Pink or white there's a lot of pretty over here!
I have got to say that I am loving the new white background - all the colour just pops out of the page.
I think it is children who do such a marvelous job of keeping us in the pink, and on our toes. My daughters don't miss a thing - even when I think they are looking the other way. And oh your foyer! What a wonderful welcome home you enjoy! Best, Roxanne
And Another Thing.
Not everyone has white backgrounds on their blogs!!!
Pink is wonderful! But I like white- it's easy on the eyes! Maybe you could do a pop of pink somewhere! I didn't see your blog before- because i just found you. I love your blog though!!!

Clever little guy! To be truthful, often I am amazed how smart and receptive these young kids are!
I think children are very observant and when they love they see things we often think they do not notice!
Of course you still love pink! Did you see Pantone made Honeysuckle pink color of the year 2011? I am sure you know already!
And your friend's gift came from the heart to the right recipient!!! Beautiful paintings!
Happy holidays, Anna!

missing the pink!
missing the pink!
I adore that wall of paintings and the pop of pink chairs!
Gorgeous boy! I was just wondering what was so odd about your blog! I vote for the pink again. It does make you stand out. Nothing to say for being exactly like everyone else.
Though to be honest, i love your posts so much i'd read it if it were in French! xx
