...it is still Sunday here...tomorrow my daughter goes off to backpack in your lovely country...she is going to try to find your shop & get a pic in front of it for me!
Anna, O love purple and lavender. My bedroom was done in lavender when I was a teenager. Now I am adding lavender to my brown tones. Beautiful post. Have a nice holiday. Teresa (Splendid Sass)
I think I've always had a thing - often a big thing, too - about purple. But these shots are just so gorgeous, I think they could convince even the most ardent anti-purple fan how gorgeous it can look. Such a lovely combination for a spring-y Monday!
Wisteria is one of my current favourite colours - as you can see from my new Bally handbag. Check it out here (along with my berry muffin recipe): http://spotsandstripes.com.au/stay-home/the-best-room-in-the-house/43-very-berry-muffins
Yes - I agree with Tricia - a smokey pueple or lilac are my favourite shades in the purple spectrum. They can be so elegant when combined with the right colours and/or accessories. lovely images by the way! x
I adore purple, lilac, and all shades in between. Have a good friend who only ever wears clothes in that colour - an amazing style too. I particularly purple/lilac shads of nail colour.
I've never had a thing for purple (or mauve) either but in November, when Sydney is decked in purple from either wisteria or jacaranda, I'm inclined to change my mind. Your photos help too, especially the on of lilacs.
same here, I used to lump it up with girly colors and never give it a second look, but it's the color of royalty. I love mixing it with grays, whites and even blues. It's beautiful with chartreuse and turquoise as well. I love the ballerina on the asphalt... it's an amazing contrast. These made me smile, thanks for posting them.
I want those lilacs right now. So pretty. I love the photo too. Thanks for the inspiration as here in Paris it is COLD, GREY and rainy today. Bonne journee!! Erica
Me too. I was a late bloomer when it came to purple. Still have a problem with some of the brighter shades of this colour, but love the muted & more sophisticated shades. That Chanel bag looks yummy!
I love shaded purple, never been one to like the royal/jewel tones but that soft place right between gray and lavender is the perfect shade for a bathroom or bedroom

Always like purple with warm gray... smoky purple or lilac for preference.

That Chanel is sinfully gorgeous, I never thought purple leather would be a good thing but it absolutely is!
I'm more of a pink girl myself but these photos really do make me re-think the colour purple!

Love that second picture, lilac is a great colour and a great flower. In lilac season my house gets quite purple!

Such a melancholy colour I think...teamed with other pastels it is very calming. I have always loved a deep lavender with a soft sage green, stunning.
Love the purple combination on this photos. Great!
love,

The last photo is awesome:) This is a purple I would like to have... :)
