How much is that doggie in the window?

I brought Ned into work today in an attempt to cheer myself up. His favourite spot in the entire store was sitting in the front window next to our beautiful new curtains watching the traffic and passers-by. I couldn't resist snapping this photo above.

Oh god you're game Anna - I would be worried he's bowl over all your nice ginger jars and vases and lamps! What a good little boy he is.

Be still, my heart ~ oh, he's really growing up, isn't he! Did many people drop in especially to give him a pat? Hope you feel better, Anna.

ADORABLE.
Hope you are feeling better soon. I'm just getting over a summer cold too (kids as well). It's horrible being sick in this heat and humidity!

Love this photo of your pooch in the shop. I've tried in vain to bring my little Bumbee (mini-dacshund) to my shop but she is so territorial that she barks at all the shoppers. Sadly, she has been banned. When I first opened my shop 4 years ago, I brought my cat to the shop. She got so freaked out she climbed into the heating duct and sat there for 2 days.

I always encourage my customers to bring their dogs in, even offering a discount (Mutt Mondays). I think it's nice to have pets around at work.

Well, doesn't he just look like he's keeping a proper eye on things. Next best thing to having a Helpful Cat is having a Useful Dog! Thank you so much for all the absolutely beautiful things on your blog - it provides much needed cheer and inspiration here in gloomy rainy old england

Ned looks like such a love bug! He is so cute in the window. I always think that shops that have a resident animal are so much more inviting and welcoming. Your window is gorgeous even without Ned in it! The drapes are to die for.

Isn't he growing so fast Anna! Son #5's Border Collie pup the gorgeous Miss Tassie is the same age as your Ned. She is a bundle of mischief & delight. If we were closer I'd set up a play-date for the 2 of them, although I think we'd all be exhausted after an hour! Hope you are on the mend.
