A Garden Table

There were certainly many things to be inspired by in the much anticipated launch issue of Lonny magazine but one particular thing which caught my eye was the beautiful garden table in Deborah Needleman's home. I was recently recommending a very similar concept to a client of mine who has an apartment in the city. I thought it would be lovely to inject some green onto her verandah by way of a table filled with pots. It was great to be able to email her this picture the other day so that she could visualize what I had been talking about.

I thought this weathered table above could make for a lovely garden table. For all enquiries on this table above just email us info@blackandspiro.com.au

Hi Anna - that is a very nice table. Where does it come from? Your shop or some other place....

I really love the look of that table piled with old, weathered pots. I am hopeless about keeping any sort of plant alive, but this picture inspires me to try again!

Very nice! The only problem for me would be keeping the plants alive :)

That's a gorgeous look, Anna! We screened our deck and nearly all the pot plants threw up their leaves in protest at the change in light ~ we have to start again! I'll be doing a coffee-table-sized variation on this theme. Thanks for the lovely find!

Wow! I wish I had enough sunlight in my apartment for a table like this one!

I love this idea. On the shelf outside my kitchen window, I bunched together several small succulents in terra cotta pots and rusty wire baskets... kind of unintentionally... and I really like it so it gets to stay!

I'm so glad to know you've discovered Lonny as well. Michelle was my partner in crime at Domino, I'm so proud of her! Thanks so much for the comment, m'dear!

I love the industrial look of the legs in the first picture, it contrasts well with the softness of the plants. cheers Katherine

What a coincidence. Martha Stewart has a very similar concept in her current issue of her magazine. I was admiring it the very day you posted about it. I would love to give it a go on my deck - if only I could keep the cheeky possums away.

I LOVE this concept, if only it had a place to hide my dvd/speaker system I would be in heaven!
