Christmas Decorations

As you know each year I buy a few new Christmas decorations to add to my growing collection. The decorations I added to my collection this year I placed on an old plate I had which I then placed on my sideboard in a table vignette {as above}. As I decided not to put up my usual style of Christmas tree this year I had to find an alternative way to use my new decorations. Each time I walk past the sideboard I just love seeing this bowl of pretty glass decorations with their pink bows sitting on the table....just another different way of decorating for Christmas!!

P.S. Thank you so much for all of your lovely comments on our house....wow, you totally bowled me over with your enthusiasm and support!!

Lovely ornaments. Loved the previous post with photos of your home, my favorite thing would have to be the dining area with the mix of chairs. LOVE THAT!!

Dear Anna

Thank you so much for a wonderful blog, I found you in May this year and have become addicted! I am a fellow interior designer in Cape Town, South Africa. Every morning I sit down at my lap top, drink my coffee and see what you are up to in Brisbane.

That's what I really love about blogs, it communicates design to every one, on the day all around the world. I love seeing how some one else uses the same fabric I have just ordered for a client in a different way!

So, have a wonderful holiday, I can't wait to have a rest!

Kind regards

Those ornaments are really gorgeous, and the ribbons really are a nice touch!

as a DIY bride-to-be after my fiance recently proposed to me with a gorgeous diamond engagement ring from www.idonowidont.com we're having a winter wedding and it would be a dream to have beautiful clear glass ornaments like these at our little celebration.

They really are wonderful and could make a great centerpiece.
