Trying To Convince...

I emailed this picture of this gorgeous fabric through to one of my lovely clients today as I thought it would be the perfect choice for her 2 old French chairs but she wasn't convinced. She is wanting a fabric which is bright and patterned with a bit of pink and some black and possibly some other colours as well. She already has some black and white stripe dining chairs and I was planning on putting it back with new white slip covered sofas with lots of colourful, mismatched, patterned scatter cushions and a few vintage furniture pieces thrown in....I'm going to keep trying as I think this fabric would be beautiful on her chairs. I'll let you know how I go!! And anyway she might just change her mind once she sees the fabric in the flesh....fingers crossed!!

Oh, I love this fabric. It's very chic and modern. Do you know what happened to Felicity's blog over at All things bright and beautiful. I was going over to her blog and said it has been removed. I was wondering what happened. Also, I hope you don't mind but I posted one of your photos on my blog. Have a nice day! Daisy~

I am crazy about that fabric! Your client must not realize how effective the 2 white slipcovered sofas will be, in absorbing and diluting the strength of pattern and color around them....Tell her she must trust your vision on this! It will be stunning. Good Luck.

I love your choices, as always... Hopefully she can follow your guidance!
Have you seen fabrics by Tricia Guild? She has amazing things, wallpapers as well, incredible vibrant.

It's EXACTLY what I've been looking for to reupholster my grandmother's ancient chair. It's just beautiful, is fresh and could mix in with so many different styles, as you suggested. I would love to see the finished room with it.

I would do it in a heart beat and finish it off by painting the wood black. Tres chic! Love your design fashions and your bold color choices. I am a chair junkie and always looking for castaway chairs to make over. Your blog is a great inspiration!

I think it's pretty cool, but you're right, she might feel differently when she can actually see and touch the fabric in person.

I love your gorgeous dining room - especially the high-backed chairs! Question: how do you take a chair like the one you posted and make the seat full and cushy instead of dilapidated?

LOVE your blog and your ideas! This fabric is AMAZING and would be gorgeous on those very traditional chairs with the wood touched up or painted. I hope she changes her mind! Good Luck
