Fabric Loving

I took this photo at Black & Spiro before our sale last month.  The reason I am posting it is because I love the fabric we used on the antique chair pictured.  It's always so exciting stumbling across a fabric I haven't seen before.  It inspires me and gets me thinking about the possibilities of what I can do with it and what other fabrics I can mix with it.  Even though this chair has now sold I think I might need to have something else covered in this fabric...

I love fabric. I am a designer and use color so often and it is usually in the fabrics I use. I would love to cover an ottoman with that fabric. Do you sell it?

The fabric is lovely - a very fresh take on the kilim. My mother has just returned from Paris with a few goodies, including cushions made from antique kilims. They suit her house perfectly, but I like the younger take with the colourway that your chair has (or had!).

Words are not enough to express how inspiring your work is Anna!! It just gets better and better all the time. I have an antique nursing chair that belonged to my grandmother and I've been holding off til I find the perfect fabric for it- something bright and contemporary to contrast the age of the chair. I'm pretty sure I'll find what I'm looking for at Black & Spiro!

It is always disappointing to come across a gorgeous shop or site on the net, only to find the products are on the other side of the world. Wonderful is how i felt after finding your page and realizing you are in my own home town of Brisbane. Ahh the glory! I can't wait to come and peruse all your beautiful things. Thanks so much for the inspiration Anna.
