Lonny in the flesh...

Today, whilst the rest of Australia enjoyed Melbourne Cup festivities, I enjoyed a few moments at Black & Spiro to myself with a hard copy of Lonny. I have decided that I am going to order every issue in hard copy format. It's so thick and full and in actual fact is very much like a book. I loved reading the articles and flipping the pages and I love having a copy to put on my coffee table to keep forever.

Nothing like a little quiet time and a fantastic decor magazine...I still prefer flipping pages to computer screens- just something about being able to flip through those glossy pages filled with gorgeous pictures. Plus, like you, I love the look of them stacked on a table. xx

Hi Anna! what a great idea! I will have to look into that as well...I love magazines and books and though it is easy to read online, it would be nice to enjoy a hard copy!! :))

Ooh, I didn't realise there was a hard copy available! I'm with you, Anna. It's such a gorgeous publication, I'm going to treat myself to the printed version also- so happy to have learnt this from your post.

Anna the Lonny Mag looks great on the fabulous yellow table.

I'm thinking of asking for a year's subscription for my B-day. It would be totally worth it.

I love that yellow coffee table!

Wow, what a great way to spend the day.
I admit, I wish Lonny were readily available on newsstands in paper format.
I long for the smell and touch of real pages and ink.
Enjoy, Alcira

Anna,

We all know you're the QUEEN Of COLOR but I can't get over this GORGEOUS yellow table! The simplicity of its forms and the vibrant color is simply a perfect combination!

The magazine is great too. ;-)

I agree! Fabulous idea. As much as I love the online version, I still prefer a real magazine.

Hi Anna, iam a spanish fan of your incredible work... that colour and mixing! you have an oustanding and personal way of decorating... I really love your blog!!! By the way I would like to know something about the author of the paintings that appeared in your july post of Black and Spiro, unveiling, the reopening of your store, those over a sofa with cushions and behind your tutu desk, they really fascinated me with that freshness and colour

Oh yes - me too! Nothing like the actual pages in your hand! KG xx

I've hesitated to buy a hard copy and I don't know why. Maybe "it's only a magazine". Well, that's sill because they are few and far between these days. I love paper. I love having the reference forever-I have some tear sheets that are 30 years old and I still love to sift thru them. You've inspired me, again, I'm ordering a hard Lonny!

Hi Anna,

Can you tell me if there is somewhere I can subscribe online to the Lonny magazine, I am currently living in Japan? I too love checking through the online magazine, but nothing beats the feel of the actual thing in my hands.

Thanks
Angela

I've been thinking the same thing... I miss the days of Domino and how I would just love when it would come in the mail. I saved all my copies and I refer to them often. I will order Lonny and do the same.

What?! You can get a Lonny in hard copy?! Awesome. I was reading the latest issue earlier in the week and kept wishing I could have a hard copy. Thanks!

I just came back from Oz (was in Melbourne, blogged quite a bit about it if you'd like to check it out. http://www.beyondbostonchic.com
