Loving

I am completely in love with these gorgeous purple spots. Top image is new Megan Park via Marie Claire magazine and bottom image is Lilly Bunn Weekes, head designer at McMillen Plus as profiled by Vogue which I found over at Peak of Chic.

Me too Anna! I am not usually a purple person but I love that whole fashion spread, it really won me over. What a beautiful match with the chair too.

Not usually a fan of purple either, but the first image is sensual and regal all at once, love it!

I know what you mean - i have a blouse with a print in this tone - i bought it nearly two years ago, and never wore it.

found it a few weeks back and can't stop wearing it now.

must be something in the cosmic psyche. :)

Purple, one of my favorite colors. Polka dots, LOVE them, but that baby girl is the sweetest!!!

I always thought purple was such a "little girl" color, but now that I'm older I LOVE it! In fashion and design!

i think the chair in the vogue piece is perfect. it's a great way to use a pop of a color you love but don't want to overdo. and against the more neutral colors, it totally works.

what's nice about a piece like that is that if at some point she wanted to, the chair could be moved to another room and do just the same magic in there.

So how's it going Anna?

That Megan is beautiful. The baby's cute as pie..
What's with Purple this year? I have been seeing it every where.
Maybe it's just me. I go through time's where certain things catch my eye more than others.
