Saturday Vintage Shopping Trip

A friend asked me to go hunting for vintage pieces with her yesterday {Saturday}. I warned her before we left that sometimes it can be hard to find things and sometimes we can come home with no great finds. Well, didn't I eat my words. We had one of the most successful vintage hunts I have had in a long time. We filled the boot of the car and then filled the back seats with things too. We even have a few pieces which need delivering next week!! Now, that's what I call a successful day...

Nice work Anna! - Love a good shop on the weekend, good for the soul!!
I get in so much trouble when I take my friends shopping these days, so much so they have to vow to their husbands that it isn't me they are shopping with - apparently they spend too much money!? Last buy was a stunning huge twiggy wreathy thing from a gorgeous homewares shop in the Adelaide Hills. We told husband that we found it on the side of the road!?!?!? xx

Anna can totally relate to good day/bad day with vintage finds. I set out to the markets myself this morning and came home empty handed. Does not happen too often but have to take the good with the bad. You look like you really scored. Sandy

I love that yellow chair. It's beautiful. My mom actually drove through one of the wealthy burbs here in Atlanta and scored me several great pieces, including a vanity with a kidney-shaped surface for $5!!!!

Hi, I love love love that yellow slipper chair, is it for sale and can you get it to me in the states?? I would like to use it my clients home. also for the post on kitchne "skirts" I love them! I have one in our flower room/mud room and it is holding up great. plus we have 5 dogs and 3 kids and a cat that always pass in and out of that room. I want to put a very simple old fashioned check one in our kitchen under our sink, i think they are so lovely
