Bed of Flowers

I fell in love with this gorgeous guest house in the Netherlands when it was featured in Real Living magazine recently. I love, love, love it! The coloured feature walls are divine and I love them paired with the floral fabrics, vintage floral artwork, white walls and vintage inspired furniture pieces. The house is aptly named Bed of Flowers!! You can stay at this beautiful place and I must say I think it is very reasonable priced. Click HERE to visit the website.

I LOVE the pink on the walls in that second photo, as well as the dining room set and pink settee in the background. It's not too much because of the natural pine floors. Stunning!

Oh my goodness! I just found your blog. It is beautiful...so clean and easy to read. I love your beautiful pics even though we are worlds apart, literally and otherwise. (My youngest child is older than you!) I really am drawn to everything you have posted. I love the idea of the purpose of your blog being to record/document the work you have done. I have just started a blog with the same thoughts as a goal. www.bcpmylife.com

I really love the lime green walls in the feature room. I have one lime wall in my kitchen above my stove just so I can look at lime green. I have left the large window facing south west uncovered so I get the sunset colours of the sky in the evening . lime green glows differently depending on the time of the day. love these Brissie cool evenings. cheers

I love that hit of acid green on the walls which is such a perfect backdrop (and daring) for anything floral.

Incredible place. The combination of weathered looking floors, florals and splashes of vibrant colour really work, and that chandelier; woman after my own heart!
