I am totally smitten with the artwork of Kate Lewis. I love everything she does. Her paintings have a soft, smudgy look which I think is very beautiful.
Was not familiar wtih her work or name but now am! Thank you...I too am drawn to her gorgeous colors, and that soft slightly smudged techique, going to go check out more of her work with a move just a few months away I am starting to think about art and I must say this is really really pretty!! Took a peek at her work, and it's really lovely. Like a fusion of art and design into a new concrete medium... Does anyone know what it's called when a painting contains a picture of another painting? I know that art described in poetry is a complex genre called ekphrasis.
