I think everyone knows that I love mismatched cushions so when I spotted this image of Rachel Roy's lounge room in Olivia's photo files on her laptop today at work it stopped me in my tracks. I love this.
such a beautiful light-filled room...and the cushions...so pretty such wonderful harmony despite varied patterns and colors...you also do this so well Anna...Do visit my blog when you have a moment! xx meenal

Oh how I'd love some shelves around my fireplace like that! Trying to work out what's best - get a carpenter in or go budget with some store bought bookshelves?
Hum..its a look not one I am especially fond of, but then again I am a very symmetrical everything has to be perfect kind of person so that look would make me crazed! I apprecaite the whimsy and fun behind the look (and maybe a little part of me is just a wee bit jealous too of someone who can live with that kind of not so perfect, different sized, no two things match arrangement) Have a great day!
