I have had this image saved in my picture file for a long time and as I was flipping through my images today I spotted it again. I absolutely LOVE her dress. I think she looks so groovy and stylish!
Anna, I suspect you'd rock that dress and accessorise with some killer heels. In fact, what an excellent photoshoot, you in the dress sitting on one of your highly patterned sofas! Gorgeousness. x
I'm sorry "Hostess Dresses" are no longer in fashion because they were so very comfortable and chic at the same time. I may just fish one out of my closet.
I absolutely love her dress too. I want to age cheek to cheek with this gal... well, and you too, since you saved this photo and liked it so much... Have a great day. Marybeth from Texas
Anna, I adore your blog. Colour, OH! the joy of such delights for the eye and soul. I would happily spend all day browsing through your shop and the Straddy house is a dream. I am in the country. Dry at the best of times and barren when not, however we love it. We run an artist retreat, so we don't tend to have many unstainworthy pieces. But I do like to look. Thankyou for sharing. sharonleeartist.blogspot.com
that is a fabulous dress - but it's becuase of the lady - she can make it work. I would look like Scarlet O'Hara gone very very very wrong. Funny how some can carry off something while others simply cannot.
I love her dress too! I have saved this picture too for the same reason! She just exudes confidence and grace! And she chose that awesome rug that looks so great with the floral!
I love this gown..if only we women had the courage to step out in something like this more often..or slip on a gown like this when having a dinner party...just so chic. Love browsing through your blog page Anna..its always so colourful and inspirational..thank you !! Anna
Divine. Absolute elegance but with her own amazing style. A style not everyone could make happen but she seems to do it with ease. It's not just the fabric though, it's the way the dress is cut... Px
first time on your blog... doesnt her dress remind you of the beautiful floral dress in botticelli's primavera? http://www.windows.ucar.edu/mythology/images/primavera.gif
