From The Files



A couple of images from my files which I continue to love. I really do seem to be enjoying a touch of red lately and it always looks wonderful with blue and white don't you think?

    Nice choices. I love how you combine blue and red, without making it all like a giant flag. BTW, I enjoyed seeing Harry's room again through his eyes on Swish and Swanky. I've two little ones myself and I love talking to them about the decor of our home, especially their rooms. They always say such funny things!

    Hi Anna: I love your blog...and I particularly love red...I am working on a student project right now and will incorporate a lively red and white pattern to a Swedish style settee...modern fabric on an antique is a look I can fall in love with!!

    Blue, red and white in interiors create that clean, sporty yet elegant look - same in fashion.
    BTW these are the national colors of the French, the Americans and Dutch and often used by their designers.

    I adore that bedspread. I really have a thing for the slightly 'ethnic' fabrics at the moment. Although I love blue and white and the red.... the black with those colours is what has my heart racing!

    I really have been loving red and white too. After your post last month with the red and white striped bedding, I've decided to use that style fabric in my girls bedroom. They have lavender walls but it looks fantastic together!
