I haven't really been using red in my work lately but I have recently started to love a touch of red again. Here are a couple of images which reminded me how great {and fresh} a little bit of red in a room can look.

I just discovered your blog tonight, and I'm really thrilled that I did. It's well-named...you do have some absolutely beautiful things to see here, absolute eye candy.
ReplyDeleteNice to "meet" you!
All the best,
Anne
Red is -- bar none -- my favorite color in decorating. Throw in a splash of mustard/gold as an accent, and I'm in hue Heaven.
ReplyDeleteI adore your blog and follow it daily. Reading your words re: the radiance of ruby made me smile.
Long live red.
:)
Gorgeous - I love a touch of red.
ReplyDeleteI love the red and white striped bedskirt and headboard! I may have to make a go of that look here at my house.

That red cabinet is gorgeous!! Yes, I think I'll be bringing back the red after seeing those pics.
ReplyDeleteLovely post, I love the first picture and I agree a touch of red is wonderful just like in the closet. A little goes a long way. I popped into your store on the weekend on a trip to Brisbane, it is beautiful, everything I thought it would be.
ReplyDeleteOh yes SUPER that little bit of red!

That bathtub is delicious!
ReplyDeleteA touch of red is often a great way to add something onto the interior and introduce energy and variety. Especially when it's not overwhelming.

I love the use of red in interiors as well. As a matter of fact I just did a "red room" on my design blog too because I had not been using it enough - what a coincidence!
ReplyDeleteIts so regal and bold. Love it.
LOVE the red tube!!! I've never seen one before.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know her dress isn't red, but it's still gorgeous. :)
Red is good luck in Chinese culture!

I love a touch of red in an interior. it brings life and interest in a way that most colors cannot. Its like the old saying, "buy a pair of red shoes and you will find they go with everything"

Love the bath the best. Red is so hot right now!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is my fav. I am so addicted to display cabinets/hutchs at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI love the red and white bedroom, beautiful! Perhaps I'll become a red person after all.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute beautiful things, my dear!
ReplyDeleteA touch of red is wonderful...
Love the red bath... very unexpected!
ReplyDeleteI'd agree with you on the fresh look of red in a room. Especially if the room has a lot of white and has a very crisp, clean feeling. I also love rooms that have beautiful Interior doors . When I was younger and my family was looking for a house, my dad was always looking at the doors. They had to be good doors, and have a sort of classic look. For my taste, I just like a door that looks vintage or has a little something extra about it. Maybe a hint of red in a detailed door would be that something extra?
ReplyDeletea little red is ok...not a fan of red but i like splashes of it.
