Flowers Flowers Everywhere

I for one am thrilled with the abundance of floral designs popping up here, there and everywhere. I have been collecting a lot of floral images lately as we are about to embark on a very floral inspired look at Black & Spiro in the coming months. This week I thought I would share with you a few images which we have been using as inspiration for our new look. Maybe they might help you to be inspired too.

  6. Funny, you would think that all those flowers and bright floral prints would be all over each other and end up looking too busy (pics 1 and 3) but it's not like that at all. In fact, they work SO well together in pic 1. Harmony is the word that comes to mind. Also I haven't given peonies much thought (mostly cos they get abused so much in cliche pop culture american wedding movies) but pic 4 is certainly pulling me in. I think I've found my few favorite flower!

  9. Beautiful! I agree that an abundance of floral designs are popping up everywhere. In this month's Lucky magazine they have a section on deep floral fashion pairings which create a look that is "equal parts pretty and eclectic...and seems like it could have been pulled from the playbook of a quirky-but-stylish British heiress"(pg136). Among the recommendations: liberty florals, oversize cabbage roses, plus a dose of something splashily abstract.

Random question....does anyone know of any paris apartment rentals for a week? A web site? I am going for my first time to Paris and would love to rent a cute apartment:).

I hope you don't mind me asking this on your blog, but I am assuming you love Paris....

  18. Here is an apartment in Paris that is owned by an incredible designer, Ann-Marie Midy, who also lives/works in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico:
