Cupboard Makeover

I have an old cupboard at home just like this one however, at the moment mine certainly isn't looking as chic as this one.

At the shop I have lots of bits of left over wallpaper from displays we have done. I'm thinking I might use some of these bits to paper the back of my cupboard door.

My little cupboard is in a hallway near our kitchen and currently it is bursting at the seams with sheets and towels. I think I should move the sheets and towels into my larger laundry cupboard and fill this little one with some of my special pieces of china.

This pretty image has inspired me.

  3. Hi Anna,

I just did a post yesterday on my blog about creative uses for a roll of wallpaper that I just purchased.

I didn't think about putting it on the inside of a cupboard door. I like this idea if it is a cupboard you use a lot - then you would get a nice surprise when you open it!

  4. What a lovely idea. I have a little buffet and hutch that would look great with the wallpaper on the inside.

  9. Another wonderful idea! Lining the kids bath cabinetry doors would be great. They make such a mess the doors would then be easy to wipe down, at least on one side! Janell

  13. This also seems like something I could do with our boring, old, white laminate cupboards. Using wallpaper, paper or fabric - thanks for the inspiration!

  18. Hmmm... my cupboard started its life looking a little like this one - sadly, it doesn't have quite the same feel to it now! But this has inspired me to reorganise and bring it back to its former glory!
    Thanks Anna

  21. Ooh I did this once with an old cabinet I used for extra storage in my bathroom. It made me so happy every time I needed a new bar of soap or bottle of lotion...

  28. That wallpaper with the little birds is adorable! If I did something like this and had so much lovely china, I'd keep the cupboard door open permanently.
And, to Stumbling, Falling etc that also commented on this post: you're missing out if you haven't yet discovered the joy of "the beauty within"!
