Glamorous Times




Following on from my vintage fashion posters which I posted last week...

I am very inspired by the style and grace of these women. Look at the beautiful dress Grace Kelly is wearing in the bottom image. I just adore the green and white floral fabric it is made in. On another note, look at the curved banquettes which are made in white painted lattice. There is just so much inspiration in these beautiful images.

    Oh, these images are divine. I just adore that second picture. I wish I was around in the era when women frocked up like this on a daily basis. How fabulous!

    oh, these photos are gorgeous! there is nothing like the style of that time--such elegance.

    and try as we may, i've never seen it recreated. it's like it's just a capsule of time never to be repeated. that's why i love photography--to capture it. these photos are perfect--the pinks and greens together.
