My Christmas Tree Creation

Well I completely went in the opposite direction with my Christmas tree at home. Here is my little creation which I just finished decorating this afternoon. I used fresh Peonies and Camelia Leaves to decorate this old garden trellis which I found and had painted white with a rough rubbed back finish.

  6. How did you get that effect...the patina look on the trellis? I'm painting a big piece white and I want it to come out with the same effect as yours...
    Thanks!

  7. hi!

I notice you find loads of antique treasures. Any idea where I can find them in Melbourne? It seems all the good shops and markets are everywhere else but here!

  21. Wow this is so cute! It's a great use of something out of the ordinary.
I'm a real traditionalist I'm affraid especialy with kids in the house. I have a huge tree we decorated as a family complete with Carols in the background and my daughter, Neve, always gets to put the Angel ontop.
Maybe when the nest is empty I'll be able to experiment with beautiful ideas like yours Anna.
