Christmas @ Black & Spiro

Today we created the first of our Christmas 2008 windows at Black & Spiro. We have selected a blue/white & pink colour theme this year. I used a set of old blue and white teacups I had to decorate this tree along with lots of other decorations and if you look closely at the top I have used a blue and white plate with an old silver sugar bowl filled with fresh pink roses as the Christmas Tree Topper. I just used a navy and white stripe fabric {which we had in stock} at the back as the drop and I also found a vintage trike which you can see we have used as a prop with a ribbon tied on. We will be finishing our other Christmas window display on Thursday. Unfortunately these pictures are not the best but I hope you can get the idea.

  3. Just gorgeous! I can only imagine how spectacular your home tree would be... would put our daggy tree, complete with 6 year old dough decorations, to shame. You have inspired me to lift the standard and be a bit more creative this year! A-M xx

  10. love it!! Fabulous display, you clever sausage. Yes i know what you mean re: the second is never as good as the first, happens to me too- The best in-shop christmas display for me was one year when I found beautiful branches and hung them upside down from the roof, interwined fairy lights and hung massive feather baubles that we were selling in the shop. each christmas my customers still asked for that tree display - it was the one thing I wasn't selling! So I just had to say: get a branch from your garden, hang it upside down, etc etc.. and don't forget to buy my christmas baubles!
