Black & Spiro Today

Here is a little old chair we just had recovered for a client which we received back from our upholsterer today. I couldn't help taking a photo and sharing it with you. This fabric is the same one {in a different colourway} we used to cover the Lulu 2 seater we currently have in the shop. It is certainly a favourite fabric amongst us all at Black & Spiro at the moment! I'm actually considering having a bed head made in it for home....it's those birds which keep luring me in!! Email us for fabric pricing and availability info@blackandspiro.com.au

  1. Gorgeous. I love the birds, too. Wouldn't it be lovely against something black and laquered? Although that chest behind is wonderful, too.

  5. Since you're all about birds these days, I hope you have an Anthropologie store in nearby? Tons of adorable wooden birds in its home collection. If not, they're still cute to look at.

  6. hi there, your blog is lovely and have found myself rather envious of the mother-of-pearl inlaid chest incorporated in your rooms. i've been searching for an arabic/syrian drawer very similar to the one pictured but have had no luck. i would be very appreciative if you could tell me where you purchase them, the price, and if the seller(s) ships internationally.

  7. Great work as usual Anna. I'm loving that fabric, and the scrolly wooden detail on the chair.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  16. Thanks Betterhomenogarden - but down here in Australia there isn't an Anthropologie nearby at all and to make it worse they don't ship down here so we have to miss out! But I will go and check out your link for some lustworthy inspiration!!

If anyone else has any contact details for suppliers of these chest in other countries please leave a comment here. Thanks so much!
