I love this idea of having a special area with a large sink and lots of bench space to arrange flowers - something to add to the file for the dream house!!
I would so love to have a flower/potting room with a large old wooden potting table, shelves full of interesting pots to use, bins full of wonderful soil and amendments, lights shining through large windows for inspiration, a huge old porcelain or cement sink.....oh to dream...
Completely a part of my dreams!First, to have a garden that produces many gorgeous blooms! Second, to have a room like these to spend time in. Third, to always have gresh flowers around the house.
Oh my goodness, I love that sink! Definitely a dream of mine to have such a room as well. Even if its to pretend its for flowers, and really just wash my daughter's juice stained onesies!! Ha!
i love this idea too Anna i found a great image of one in USA vogue - beautiful! I included it in my inspiration page here http://www.flickr.com/photos/anastasiac/2304066322/
Oh me too Anna! There are so many special rooms that i would love. But where does it end??

ReplyDeleteI adore these shots! So tidy and beautiful.
I so hear what you're saying! Cutting stems and trimming leaves results in an utterly wet and dirty kitchen. Could we call it the "green room"?
ReplyDeletethat second room is lovely. xo
ReplyDeleteMy friend is a florist and has a room just like this. I have to be dragged out screaming and kicking and could watch her making displays forever

Absolutely divine - love the blue! It's similar to my old 'rustic' blue kitchen:
