A Nursery For Baby Ben

I recently finished this little nursery for baby Ben. The brief from my client (Ben's mum) was "create something really simple and natural". This is what I created.

  1. Soo beautiful Anna. I love serene nurseries and I'm sure babies appreciate the non-garishness too! I love the chair - where did you find? Or is it from your store?

  5. Anna,

    I have to laugh.

The first thing I thought when I saw this title was

"OH my GOODNESS - Harry's going to have a little brother called Ben!!!"

Ok ok now that Ive read the entire post and dispelled that rumor!!... I'll calm down and get excited about .......

the beautiful taupe chair with white trim instead:-)

    Delicious :-)

Hugs and thanks for the mention on the Kaffe Fasset post - tho' it had little to do with my doing :-)

  16. I adore this room. If I were a baby, or a new mom, I would find this very calming. I would have never thought to do a baby's room in neutrals. You and the mom are brilliant.

  41. Okay, where were you when I had my babies? Oh yeah, you were in Brsibane, I am in the US. Darn that mundane fact! I wish I could have them all over again just to copy your amazing rooms! I love your style and I must share on my blog your amazingness. Thanks for sharing with the rest of the world.

  43. Oh, wow - a big thank you to everyone for your very kind comments. A few of you have asked me about the chair. This is a chair I had custom made for the client to my design and specification. These chairs are becoming a signature of mine as most of the houses I am doing these days gets at least one chair which is contrast piped with a special embroidered motif on the inside back panel. If anyone is interested in pricing please email me at anna@blackandspiro.com.au

Thanks again to all! Glad you liked Ben's special nursery!
