An old vintage bamboo look iron chair above is part of a set of 4 chairs and a table which I found in my travels - it takes pride of place in my new display.
I found an old embroidered Willow design linen tablecloth which I had made into some new cushions (above) with a Ralph Lauren blue and white stripe on the back - they are already sold!!The new look at Black & Spiro is progressing everyday. Some new bits and pieces above - still waiting on a few more pieces to finish it all off. Once it's all done I'll post lots of pictures of the finished look!!

Thanks Anna! How often do you change the interiors at Black & Spiro?
ReplyDeleteI try for 1 major change every 6 months and then within those major changes there are about 2-3 mini changes. It depends how quickly we sell everything as well but I do think it's very important for the shop to be fresh and exciting so even if some things don't sell I just put them away and sell them in our once a year sale or I try to place them into jobs. Changing wallpaper and curtains all the time can be very costly even with showroom discounts from our suppliers and manufacturers!!!

ReplyDeleteRe back of your chair - I always like to go a bit mad on the back of these type of chairs as you can see by the chair in this post!! I would do something in an aqua personally or some sort of spot?? Completely different to what you were thinking I know!! I'm sure whatever you pick will be stunning - are you still thinking of painting the walls in that aqua colour?

Basically, now I'm just focusing on pieces I can take with me or move from room to room. The plaster walls (where the chair will go for now) are very damaged and in need of repair. A major change in color, or dark color, isn't an option but a light coat of aqua could be a temporary fix -- that's how
I arrived at the shade :)
