Straddie...






Last night we had some friends over to our beach house at Straddie (Stradbroke Island) for dinner. It was a great night with lots of fun had by all. I thought I would show you a picture of the table setting and also some pictures of our house. I love spending time here in our little beach cottage with my husband and our son. We rent the house out for holiday bookings so please email me if you are interested in renting it.

    Thanks guys! You should see the outside - we are saving up to paint it as it is currently a disgusting mustard yellow with green and maroon trims. Not a good look!!! I can't wait to paint it white!

    I wish I had a beach house! I wish Toronto had a beach..haha! The place looks great and the table setting looks very cozy but elegant!

    looks fantastic!! my parents have friends at Stradbroke Island, they own fish restaurants at the GoldCoast...Ive been once - it has a lovely atmosphere - must be nice to get away for the weekend!

    I miss the beach! I grew up with a beach house in Balboa, CA. Very old, built by my grandfather, one of the first on the penninsula. We spent every summer there. Your beautiful beach house brings back very fond memories!
