These images are lovely. Whether they are all light and pastel or lights and darks combined, it just works. I love combining the same colors in different ways. Each combination speaks a different language.
Susan, that is very true. A lot of people think that they need to be matched perfectly but I'm learning that this combination adds such a depth that it's a treat for the eyes to see. Thanks for all the posts, Anna. I put the yellow pillow that you sent me on my white chair against the pink wall and my Texan father (who is visiting) went into the room and announced in his booming voice, Wah HUNNY, this room is a beeeeaut. This pink is verrry soothing on the eyes and I LAHK the yellah pillah!" My mouth nearly hit the floor! He then proceeded to (gasp) photograph it.
I have not favored pink in the past, but after looking at all the gorgeous images, I feel differently! Pink and yellow do compliment each other beautifully.....thank you for sharing!
