I just previewed the new Designers Guild fabric and wallpaper collection this afternoon - Oriental Garden - which is due for release in Australia mid-March. It is fantastic. There seems to be a chinoiserie theme running through the collection which I adore. We have chosen some beautiful things for the shop which I will post once we have installed the display.
Mt favourite place in London was the two DG stores on King's Road. Tricia Guild is just so creative. These fabrics and papers are wonderful.

ReplyDeleteSTUNNING. I love that aqua colorway and the sort of "mod" chinoiserie with the gold on the bottom. Of course, I like the pink too, how predictable.

ReplyDeleteSally and I just love love love Trisha Guild. She is out most fav designer. So so inspiring with the most refreshing use of colour and elegant design. When I last visited Sally in London she took me to the DG stores and I was in heaven.
