I took this photo at
Dean & Deluca in New York a few weeks ago and thought it would be perfect to post today for Friday Flowers. I just can't get New York out of my mind. I think I am going to have return sooner rather than later...
Happy Weekend. See you next week.
xx

New York gets under your skin, doesn´t it? :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the flowers. and I also loved looking at the What is james wearing blog.
ReplyDeleteDean & Deluca! My spiritual home! Have had an obsession with it since the TV series Felicity. Absolutely stunning. The most stylish disposable coffee cups ever!
ReplyDeleteThat is one thing I still admire every trip into the city, the plethora of choices of blooms and reasonable!
ReplyDeleteIn Grand Central there is a wonderful flower stand...to bring flowers home!
Come back to NY! We would love to show you the burbs and the beauty surrounding the city. The NY Botanical Gardens is a must!

So beautiful Anna, I wish we had flower stands like this in Brisbane!
ReplyDeleteTry living here! LOL...just kidding (well kind of) it is a wonderful place no doubt but there are definitely times when I long for a slower, less frantic pace of life. Love all the flower stands, the 24 hour a day restuarants, and the energy that is only NY. So glad it left a lasting impression!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteTweeted your lovely photo today with credit back to you.

ReplyDeleteOh...I knew this was Dean & Deluca even before I read it...I love the way they have their flowers in clear glass. I miss NYC so much...even after the winter they've had!
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do love roses I think that tulips are much more unique and special.... Are girlfriends / wives set on roses or do they appreciate alternative bouquets???for reference of course...

ReplyDeleteThis is such a descriptive photo. There are so many moments waiting to happen, imagine the stories the flowers will witness. My sister is going to New York later in the year; how I wish I could stow in her luggage.

Hi Anna, New York is one of my favorite cities to visit- all the art, the restaurants, the shows and lets not forget the shopping! The only draw back is that it takes money to live in Manhattan comfortably.
