Dreaming of Paris

In a few months I am travelling to Paris which is very exciting as it will be my first ever visit to the city which I have dreamed of visiting since I was a little girl. I was recently thrilled to find The Hotel du Panthéon which is a little boutique hotel located in the Saint-Germain des Prés area right opposite the Pantheon and very close to the Luxembourg Gardens. I couldn't resist posting some pictures of the hotel above - so pretty in pink and yellow and so perfectly 'girly' as I am going with a girlfriend who will appreciate the prettiness unlike my husband who would just say in a very meaningless tone 'yes honey it's great'!!

    One of my very favorite hotels. I met friends staying there last spring. I always stay a little closer to the Seine as walking across the bridges is one of my favorites. Don't miss the mad roller bladers. They skate through the city Fridays at midnight....really magical.     beautiful collection of photos! oh you will have a wonderful time...i am going to paris in the summer...i went for the first time a few years ago and it rained for the entire three days i was there, so i am very exited to go again...enjoy this time of preparation! it's so fun to get all excited for the trip!

    OMG it's so gorgeous! Congrats are your upcoming trip - so exciting. I think going with a girlfriend sounds so fun and can appreciate that guys may not appreciate the girly pink decor lol.

    i'm sitting here now, organising a trip with my husband for work in early April. It will be a Paris and Brussels event and haven't been to either. He doesn't care where we stay so this is a definite possibility. shall investigate. the problem is there are so many options...unlike little old Brissy!

    I just stayed at Hotel du Pantheon in October for my honeymoon and it is as quaint as it looks! You must try dinner one night at Chez Alexis et Daniel nearby on rue d'Arras. Ooh, you have me missing Paris all over again.
