Another pretty, small hotel in France, Hotel Particulier in Arles seems like it would be a restful and serene place to spend a few days. I love the light filled, ethereal apperance of the large guest room in the top image in particular - I could imagine sleeping through a Summer afternoon in this gorgeous room with a light breeze flowing through the windows throwing the white sheer drapes in and out, in and out.
this is very lovely ..
ReplyDeleteI live very close to Arles , I will check this place
Oh you lucky thing Melanie - I would love to see some candid shots of this place if you ever get to visit it.

That hotel is wonderful! I'm crazy about the huge panelled wall at the head of that lovely four-poster bed. (And you certainly are lucky, Mélanie!)
ReplyDeleteAnna I love your description of the room! I'd love to be there right now!!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you {rnvl}. Thanks for stopping by!

These images are so beautiful! Pure gracefulness.
ReplyDeleteDitto for the room and I can just imagine having my breakfast cafe au lait & croissants in that wonderful garden restaurant. This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
ReplyDeleteI would love to sit at one of those crisp linen tables on a breezy morning, and have tea and croissants under those old shady trees.

thanks for the virtual break Anna :)
ReplyDeleteI have said it before, and I'll say it again - I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteThought it was high time to post a comment, seeing as how I read your blog frequently and appreciate the inspiration! Love interior design, hoping a revamped career path leads me there one day.
ReplyDeleteNot that it's either here nor there, but we named our new puppy Anna - for two reasons:
1. It's pretty
2. It's a palindrome like Otto - the name of our other pup.
Anyway, thanks again for your posts. Look forward to them daily.
Best,
Leigh
This entry makes me want to get on a plane quickly to France. Thank you for having such a lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't have said that any better -- what a beautiful hotel for a summer stay.

I stayed here 2 summers ago, while I was living in Paris. The hotel is stunning and it's a tiny oasis in the centre of the bustle. Not the warmest or friendliest of management/ staff, though, which was a shame since usually in Provence one finds a delightful generosity of spirit
ReplyDeletedarling, book my flight now! I could use a French retreat about now. Hopefully the fall weather will bring me a renewed sense of energy soon!
ReplyDeletegreat images, though. Thanks for the 'mini vacation' this morning ;)
